Being host in the Glass House
The "Glass House 2014" will be open for innovative meetings. A house in which we are going to highlight all the forces that can work together to make Umeå a fantastic European Capital of Culture. A house that will arouse curiosity. A house to look into, go into and feel at home in. A house for co-creation.
The hosts in the Glass House 2014 can have conversations with the inhabitants of Umeå about the European Capital of Culture year that are based on the host's point of view and thus broaden their organization's platform. The hosts can introduce samples of their activities and their contributions to Umeå's development — human, economic and cultural. Each week's host in the "Glass House 2014" can be a cultural association, a sports association, a gallery or an artist´s group. The host can be a project within 2014, a festival, a student association or a theatre group. Or even better a joint action among several partners. It doesn´t cost anything.
