Bill 365
"During the creation of 365 drawings I will realize real movements of the hand, fall head over heels with my chalk, run away from the viewer with my facial expressions, say freeze man and google myself, wave my arm and wipe at the edges, raise an eyebrow and mime myself."

The daily drawings with the hand as a recording tool, Bill Olson perpetuates the present, his memories, longing and laughter. He holds a dialogue with reflections, surprises and retakes in an uncertain 2011 and into 2012 – 365 days, 365 clips, 365 moves.

– A one-year study of myself, my habits and my archives from 40 years of work. Every day I open up my mind riddles and confront my current form to create a new drawing, says Bill Olson.

This is the core of the project and beyond this daily ritual various other activities will follow.
